Social/Emotional Tools for Social Work Sessions

Help me give my students sensory tools to help them regulate their minds and bodies. As a special education social worker I worked with a variety of different student profiles but they will all benefit from these tools. We. need a sensory table and a Build Me Emotions LEGO set.

My Project

I work with 6th-8th graders who receive IEP services. These students may struggle with ADHD, anxiety, and trauma (to name a few). They all have unique needs, and the tools to help them are not always accessible due to budgeting.

The sand tray, in particular, is something my students are desperately requesting.

My office space is quite small which limits the number of activities I can do with students in my room. The best tools I can offer them are smaller but still keep their minds and bodies moving in some capacity.

My students deserve tools to support their social and emotional help. Thank you for your help!
