This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Social workers are in our district to provide community resources, therapy, and Social Emotional skills to a number of students in our district each year.
Next year our social workers will be traveling to multiple schools providing services to as many students as possible.
I would like to provide them a set of sustainable tools to utilize with the students that they are serving. The supplies chosen have worked well for the social workers currently in the district. I tried to get a range of items that can serve Elementary through 12 graders. These items will help the social workers engage, build relationships, and improve students Emotional Regulation skills.
