Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have been through a lot this year (and in their lives). Many of my students have difficult home lives and have experienced trauma. They have worked so hard to meet their social emotional goals and stay calm and focused in school. I want to celebrate all the hard work they’ve done by having a slime and snacks party.
We did this celebration last year and some of my students have been asking for months when we will do it again.
