We were able to make some really cool sensory bins for our students to learn! In August, we made a Chica Chica Boom Boom sensory bin. We used letter pasta and chick peas as coconuts. My kids have so much so much fun playing in the the sensory bin. They search for letters in their name and the whole alphabet! We are also using rainbow salt mix for march, white salt for winter and polar bears, pastel colors for spring, and a blue mix for space! Our students are so excited!! What may seem like a small supply makes a big difference in helping five- and six-year-olds feel successful as writers.\r\n\r\nThe laminating pouches have also been a game changer in our classroom. I can now create durable, reusable literacy and math station materials that will last all year long. This allows students to practice important skills independently and repeatedly without materials wearing out.
