This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am currently lacking in Social Studies decorations, globes, maps, and posters, which are meant to help keep information that we learn current and relevant and activate prior knowledge. 6th-grade history focuses on ancient civilizations, and I've picked these posters with that theme in mind. Considering we will be covering several civilizations, my goal with these posters is to help them continue thinking about the world in global ways. Overall, I hope my students will become open-minded global citizens. Students must know the past, especially past great civilizations, to achieve this goal.
