Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project includes incentives for students, decor for the classroom, and supplies for students to use. We have a class money system where they can use their class money to buy incentives. This keeps them motivated and helps them display positive behaviors. The food, candy, stickers, croc charms, lanyards, and mini skateboards will be for “sale” and they will get a chance to purchase with the class money they earned. I recently switched classes, so the decor in this project will help create a positive, warm, and welcoming environment for my students to feel comfortable learning in. We have a Halloween activity coming up, so some decor will be used for that. The string lights, wreath, letter board, garland, and social studies sign will help me create my dream classroom environment. The trays will be used for a place for students to turn in their papers. Lastly, the writing supplies in this project will be used for Social Studies projects throughout the year. We do a lot of creative projects, so the pens and other materials are for the students on their projects.
