My Students
I teach for the School District of Philadelphia Funding can be limited, and I would like to provide the best tools for instruction for my future students.
We are required to teach Social Studies in third grade, yet do not have any resources to teach it. It is crucial for third grade students to learn the ways of the world, and the history of it! Providing my students with Social Studies resources will literally change their world, and their knowledge of it!
My Project
As a third grade teacher in the School District of Philadelphia, we are required to teach Social Studies, yet we unfortunately do not have any resources! I found a free website with amazing resources for Social Studies, yet books are required for the lessons. The books are not provided with the lessons.
By allowing students to have access to these non-fiction stories, they will have a whole year of Social Studies at their fingertips! This project will help the class have an actual Social Studies program, and it will give the students the opportunity to learn about all the wonders of the world! Your donation will go directly to the non-fiction books to follow an amazing Social Studies program for my third grade students!
