Help me give my students manipulative play to improve their sense of spatial awareness, fine motor skills, and sensory awareness and to develop practice skills related to daily living.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will be able to use these community helpers manipulative to keep learning new and exciting lessons. This manipulative play will help students learn how to make decisions, improve fine motor skills, and guide the students to discover that they have independent ideas.
These multicultural community helper figures will encourage acceptance and create greater multicultural awareness in a diverse world.
I’ve been working in the field of Special education for about 11 years, and I have met so many students; each of them has taught me something different. These students have a variety of skills, interests, communication styles, and personalities. I love my students and they give me an opportunity to impact their lives and allow me to provide them with tools and resources to learn according to their learning styles.
