My Project

I teach thoughtful, engaged, and excited middle schoolers! Middle school students are still building the skill of staying organized, and an essential part of supporting middle school students is helping them learn skills and routines that will make them successful in school and in life!

Using binders can be a great way for students to reflect on their learning and learn essential executive functioning skills.

In social studies class, we do most of our work on paper, and it can be hard for kids to keep all of this organized. It helps students stay engaged and on-task, without the distraction of the millions of websites they can access on a Chromebook.

In our classroom, we think deeply and make compelling connections between our past and our present. When students can look back at their past work, they can see all the amazing ways they have grown and changed!
