My Students
Our classroom is closed but learning continues! Our school shut down due to COVID-19, but my sweet kindergarten friends continue to amaze me! We are doing distant learning and students are working on learning packets from home.
The highlight of our week is our Zoom meetings so we can see each other face-to-face!
My students are still so excited to learn and we are all making the best out of the situation.
My Project
I would love to get books to use for read-alouds. I have chosen many books in the "Who Was" series so that we can include science and social studies in our reading. An interdisciplinary approach to curriculum is the key to building connections between subjects and creating students who love to learn!
I have also asked for an organizer to help get my teaching tools in order. There are also some basic items like a planner and pens to help assist me in planning lessons. The lights I will put in my classroom to help create a nice, calm environment from when they return.
