This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A social story is a narrative made to illustrate certain situations and problems and how people deal with them. They help children with autism understand social norms and learn how to communicate with others appropriately. In order for these social stories to be appropriate for our classroom we need to make them ourselves!

In order to make our own social stories, we need lamination pouches, metal rings and Velcro!

They are the essential supplies on our end of things.

We also need glitter and other crafting supplies so that students in our class can make holiday projects that sparkle and shine to make parents and families happy.
