My pre-kindergarten, varying exceptionality students are a kind and energetic bunch of children. I teach in a Title I school. Most of our children are from single-parent homes. We are a neighborhood school, and I am very proud to teach at our school. The students in my classroom each come with their own way of learning. It is my hope to reach each student and create a love of learning within them. Each of my students deserves the best tools to help them learn.
My Project
My students are PreK students with varying exceptionalities. Each child has his/her own set of developmental delays, including communication and social skills delays. These toys will help them meet their goals in a fun way. The baby doll equipment will help them to communicate with others and the babies that they are playing with. The dinosaurs are a common interest in our classroom. Students will use their imaginations to create play zones and will interact with each other while doing so. With the magnatiles, they will now have people to move around and use their communication skills to talk with their peers.
