My Project

Students are having trouble this year with some big emotions. I believe the books, games, and sensory items will all help in our classroom. Students need to have positive interactions with themselves, friends, family, and others in the community. By utilizing these games, my students will learn and practice, real life skills such as turn taking, appropriate waiting and identifying social skills that are necessary to succeed in everyday life. The sensory items and toys will allow students to calm their thoughts, emotions and bodies so they can take full advantage of the social and emotional lessons.
