Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I enjoy that my students come to school ready to learn and soak up new experiences every single day. They are special to me because they try very hard when faced with obstacles.
The flash cards, memory game, and The Coping Skills Game, in this project will be used to support students' Social Emotional Learning and Literacy Skills.
As a resource and inclusion teacher, I support a variety of individuals with learning disabilities. For my emergent bilingual students, picture cards will be used to support vocabulary, and sight word recognition. The games and social-emotional learning materials will be used to help students with coping strategies during social skills. Finally, the standing desk will be used to place the document camera while teaching students from the smart board.
