Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will be used to help support Social Skills and Social Emotional Learning for a social and behavioral special education program. Students in this program are included in general education classes but require support in the special education setting to help with their emotional regulation.

Yoga is a practice I would like to include into the daily strategies to teach expected ways to calm down as well as practicing breathing.

These supports will help my students with learning how to control their bodies in all settings of the school.

I also would like to support them using literature that helps them take the perspective of book characters and learn from their mistakes or strategies they recommend. These supports will truly help me have a more well rounded program to help with my students needs.
