Social Skill Development Through Play

Help me give my students these items to help with learning necessary skills they will need to navigate life. Board games give students the opportunity to learn cooperation skills, frustration tolerance and the ability to problem solve.

My Project

JME students are amazing as they have overcome many challenges. Many of them are learning English as their secondary language. Most of these students come from multilingual families with parents who are learning English from their children. These unique dynamics at times impact our students ability to engage in learning and growing opportunities to include playing childhood board games.

Purchasing these items will give my students at JM the opportunity to play games while developing necessary social skills to include cooperation, frustration tolerance and delayed gratification.

Many of my students have never had the opportunity to play games outside of electronics. The games I am requesting will give them the opportunity while having a fun novel experience.
