My Project

Our senior rams are so special. We know that the more scholars read, the more prepared they are for college and the world. Many of our scholars start high school below reading level, but by their senior year, many have grown at least 3-4 years. We want to keep up that momentum.

Our scholars deserve a diverse range of books and authors to choose from, particularly authors that look like them.

They also have requested more fiction and fantasy. Several seniors helped me research this list of BIPOC authors. They are so excited to get some more books in our college counseling library.
