The transition to 9th grade marked a pivotal period in a student’s life, filled with academic pressures, social complexities, and emotional fluctuations.
This proposal outlines the “cultivating calm” project, an initiative designed to equip 9th grade students with tangible tools and resources to effectively manage social-emotional stressors. By providing carefully selected items like fidgets, stickers and snacks, we aim to foster a supportive environment that empowers students to navigate the challenges of high school with resilience and confidence. I seek to implement this program in our 9th grade academy.
