Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We love to do lunch bunch (social-emotional check-ins) during lunch every week. These flexible seats and games will allow us to continue our classroom tradition of lunch bunch on the carpet while also taking time to do some playing.

Students have enjoyed this tradition in the past, and while we take good care of the games, I find myself needing some more games in my collection.

The flexible seating also helps me provide a comfy space on the carpet in the cozy corner, without sitting on desks, and making students more comfortable.

In the past, students have said that they enjoy these check-ins. This allows me to check in on a personal level when students need it.
