Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
With an increase in the decline of the mental health of our students, this project will help them feel a sense of purpose and inclusion. They will learn that they have the skills to make a difference in each other and other students' days. The goal of this project is for them to run a set of tables during our school's lunchtime mental health awareness day. My students are all in special education and unfortunately don't get the opportunity to be in charge of activities. Your donation will help my students feel proud and accomplished of something they can call their own!
