This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am excited to the chance to give my students resources to better their social and emotional learning experience. By providing my students with age appropriate resources such as books, we can open a world to social and emotional learning for these sweet kids. I have noticed in my second grade class that a lot of my multilingual learners use books to point to or express their feelings that they are unable to get out in words. I have a new upcoming class that will have a lot of very similar needs as this year and I want to be totally prepared for what is yet to come!
