This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A Zenimal and Omi are different self-guided meditations that may aid in sensory triggers and spectrum-like behaviors. The bean bag aids in feeling comfortable in the counseling office. Sensory magnets assist in engaging students in session. Counselors often find themselves in need of various tools/kits to aid students across the spectrum. In my counseling office, I serve many students with various needs. Ranging from personal home trauma, school trauma, and social-emotional needs. the items listed will serve these students and help their needs and make school a more inclusive environment.
