This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Thank you for considering my project! This will be my second year as a teacher of speech improvement. I work with students with speech and language impairments, which often impacts their ability to regulate their emotions effectively.
Emotional well-being supports focus, motivation, and the ability to overcome challenges.
These materials will help my students learn to recognize, understand, and manage their emotions. This leads to better emotional regulation, which is essential for handling stress, frustration, and conflict. Through social-emotional materials, children learn how to interact with others, build friendships, share, and cooperate. These materials also teach children how to express their feelings and thoughts effectively, leading to better communication skills. This is important for resolving conflicts and collaborating with peers.
My students are exceptional because they are hardworking and so eager to learn! These materials will greatly enhance their learning experience during their speech sessions. Thank you for considering my project!
