Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am seeking funding to provide high-quality social-emotional literacy books for students with disabilities at my school, which serves a high-needs community. Many of my students face a range of challenges both academically and socially, and access to targeted, inclusive literature is critical for building their emotional intelligence, communication skills, and sense of belonging.
These books will support our efforts to create a safe and nurturing learning environment where all students can thrive.
My students deserve resources that reflect their experiences and help them develop essential life skills. Funding for these social-emotional literacy books will directly impact the well-being and success of students who need it most, empowering them with the tools to better understand themselves and connect with others in meaningful ways.
