This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For our classroom’s Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) area, we are requesting support to add cozy curtains and comfortable saucer chairs to create a calm, welcoming space where students can reflect, recharge, and manage their emotions. This dedicated area helps students build emotional awareness, practice mindfulness, and develop coping strategies in a safe and supportive environment. The addition of soft curtains will help reduce distractions and create a peaceful atmosphere, while the saucer chairs will provide comfortable seating that encourages students to relax and feel at ease. These simple additions will make a meaningful difference in supporting our students' emotional well-being and overall academic success.
