My Project

Dear Donors,

My first grade class is in need of a new cozy corner.

A place where we can go to calm down, relax, learn, and regulate. This project will fund this endeavor with age appropriate seating, books about social emotional wellness, and snacks. (Snacks, of course, are the most important ingredient in mental wellness.) This project comes from spending time with my learners and understanding that their well-being goes well beyond academics. They need a school environment that cares for them on their best days and their most difficult days. A classroom that is clean and that addresses the whole child.
