Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The sensory toys, such as the koosh balls, LED fiber optic lights and montessori boards will help the students regulate their emotions and also help with fine motor skills.

Social Emotional learning is so crucial to all students, especially those who have a disability.

To be able to engage in shared activities and collaborative learning through play is necessary to build social skills. With the help of the "play" cleaning toys, workbench and kitchen, not only will this help teach the kids to play appropriately and collaboratively with each other, it can help to also build fine motor and life skills.

The touch and feel books will be beneficial to our visually impaired student,

who will be able to feel the pages, and he will be able to touch the sound buttons on the other book, in order to better engage with the material.
