My Project

In my classroom, we use social-emotional learning (SEL) and self-regulation tools almost daily, especially during activities where students need to manage their emotions and stay focused.

These tools help students recognize and regulate their feelings, making it easier for them to engage in learning.

However, over time, these tools can wear out, get lost, or become less effective, which disrupts the flow of learning. When something goes wrong, students have to leave their seats to get new tools, which can be distracting, especially for those who struggle with focus. This disruption can cause them to miss important instructions from me or their peers.

By donating to our project, you'll help reduce these distractions and help students stay focused and engaged. With updated SEL and self-regulation tools such as sensory pillows, fluorescent lights, fidget toys, slime, and sensory necklaces, more students can concentrate better on their learning, ultimately improving their academic achievement.
