My Project

The items being requested is for a 5th grade class room. The novel "Out of My Mind" is a powerful fictional novel that follows the life of a 5th grade student with disabilities. This story defies stereotypes, and it’s a great read for parents, teachers, and children. I use this novel to meet our social emotional learning standards, along with meeting fictional English Language Arts standards. I feel that teaching is a difficult skill to master, so it’s important for educators to remember how kids feel when they’re in school.
