This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, my class and I are working hard on our social and emotional learning. I have 7 bright and creative kiddos in my strategies class who need that extra support in this area. This includes self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.

With these books, storytelling kits, tiles, slime and more, my students will receive hands-on learning that is engaging to them.

They will learn about different emotions and ways to appropriately express them in the class and outside the school setting. They will learn how to foster healthy relationships with their peers and make good choices.
