This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Through the use of these resources, I hope to provide students with opportunities to learn more about themselves and how to cope with their emotions. These are valuable books that have relationship and communication activities, as well books for 180 days of SEL. Many students don’t have positive outlets for expressing how they feel and dealing with life changes. I want to be able to provide students with a safe space where they can freely express themselves and learn how to cope. I truly believe that social-emotional learning is an essential part of education. Unfortunately, effective resources for SEL are limited. I hope to get this project funded to support my student’s success.
