Help me give my students the tools necessary by providing students with the necessary writing tools (journals) to help support them with their social emotional learning and increase positive self awareness and mindfulness is the goal.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
After the pandemic and remote learning many students have had a higher risk of developing and dealing with anxiety, depression, isolation, transitioning back to in person school, social media, friendships, personal and family matters, attendance decrease, and academic concerns (amongst more).
During this time it was difficult and challenging for students to express their feelings.
Providing students with the necessary writing tools (journals) to help support them with their social emotional learning and increase positive self awareness and mindfulness is the goal.
Writing is a great form of expressing feelings, thoughts and be heard. Giving each student a journal to express their feelings can help increase more social emotional awareness and academic achievements.
