This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting items my students will use to develop skills that will help them with their mental health. The different thumballs provide an opportunity to identify skills for different situations. The games will allow students to have fun and initiate discussions during group sessions. The books will provide thought-provoking questions to jumpstart a conversation.

Students will use these materials to develop their coping skills and improve their mental health.

These items will be utilized by students during group sessions in order for them to apply coping skills to different situations. My students need help developing their skills in order to improve their mental health.
