Social Emotional Learning through our 5 senses

Help me give my students social emotional learning materials and manipulatives to reduce problem behaviors, self-monitor, and have fun.

My Project

Our students with disabilities can use speech cue cards, number line dry erase boards, wooden counting log, tens frame and dice game to learn math and reading comprehension together or in groups. The sensory bottles, toys, pillows, and fidget tubes will help soothe students, reduce problem behaviors, and increase on task learning for students who have sensory needs.

Due to Covid-19 and distance learning, a lot of students were unable to access the social-emotional or academic learning opportunities available in the classroom.

Students with disabilities will benefit from fidget sensory toys, games, books, and manipulatives for social emotional learning and interactive lessons on emotional self-regulation as we continue to get back on track with learning post Covid-19.
