My Project

Social Emotional learning is critical for success in school. My students need ways to process their emotions and learn strategies to help them be successful in school.

We will use the social emotional learning books, tactile stickers, earmuff headphones and card stock to facilitate strategies for our special education students to be successful throughout the school environment.

Earmuff headphones helps student remain focused on instruction and knock out the background noise. Using tactile stickers on their desks help students have an output while remaining focused on instruction. The social emotional books will help provide discussion on learning topics in social emotions. Card stock in our classroom will allow students to draw and create and use their imaginations. This will be an output for some students.

Our students will be so excited to have these items in our classroom to help them be successful.
