Help me give my students a library of books on social and emotional learning. These books will help my students see and hear what it means to understand and deal with their emotions.

My Project

These books are ones I keep taking out from our local library again and again for my students. They are great tools for giving students examples of emotions and how book characters feel and deal with all types of situations. They can connect with characters in books and see examples of how emotions can be dealt with and how they can affect other people.

Social-emotional learning is an important aspect of a student's learning more than ever.

Students can also use stories and reading as tools to learn something new and help them understand complicated feelings and situations. Having these books in my library will allow me to continue to offer these lessons on an as-needed basis rather than depending on my library's system or what my school has in stock.
