This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Social Emotional learning is such a big part of early childhood and preschool learning. In our classroom, we focus on how to show and regulate our emotions as well as coming up with ideas and activities to share how we feel.

Having manipulatives that will allow the students to be hands on, such as plush toys, emotions coins, and sand timers, while learning how to be ready for social emotional skills is going to be such a great tool for the students in the classroom.

Using these hands on tools will help the students interact in a positive way with each other by showing how they are feeling and by having objects to physically touch and handle.
