My Project
Social Social-emotional learning is a crucial part of child development and student learning. The materials purchased for this unit will aid the teaching staff in designing lessons and activities that will improve our student's emotional stability. Within Alaska, there are many children who have experienced ACEs, or Adverse Childhood Experiences. These could include physical abuse, emotional neglect, substance misuse, and divorce or separation.
Providing a wide range of techniques and coping skills can have far-reaching benefits.
Our students deserve the chance to become happy, and productive members of society. These books and materials can help our children reach their full potential and create neighborhoods and communities.
