Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These games and supplies will mainly be utilized in my advisory class which focuses on the social-emotional learning and well-being of my students. This class provides them the opportunity to connect with an adult in the school that is not one of their core academic teachers. We focus on topics such as trust, stress, coping skills, plagiarism, decision-making, kindness, bullying, and many others.

The supplies requested for this project will provide students with opportunities to unwind, take a break from academic learning, and focus on social learning.

There are many social milestones to navigate during middle school and these games and supplies will help students with their communication, emotional regulation, and collaboration skills.
