This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is important for my TK students to have social emotional learning activities. Learning about feelings and our emotions is the first important step in social emotional learning.
These materials will help my students identify emotions in a fun and interactive way.
The Potato Heads will help students identify the different parts of the face and body. The Feelings Book and toys will introduce the feelings in a way they can relate to. The social emotional game will be a great way to work with students in a small group learning to identify feelings. The construction paper will be used for students to draw the different feelings they have.
I'm so excited to teach this unit to my students. I'm sure they will love it!
