My Project
My special needs students have a wide variety of social emotional needs. Many of them have difficulty identifying the root cause of their emotions or talking about what is troubling them.
Help me provide my students with age-appropriate ways to identify and communicate their emotions in school using materials such as moods mirrors, People Shapes and Make-a-Face sheets.
By helping students to identify how they are feeling, we can help them to understand why they might be feeling this way. We can then teach students strategies to manage anger, frustration, anxiety, and fear. Your help in providing these resources will go a long way! Thank you!
