Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello! These various, age appropriate SEL games, tools, support and hands on lessons will enhance my curriculum for all of Brooklyn Arbor students. These tools, books and games will support my New York State Health Education Standards and curriculum to bring Health and Wellness to life for all students.
Starting with a mini-lessons, students will then practice the learning objective and standards when they come to Wellness weekly.
Students will work in small groups to uses these tools to re-enforce the lesson and connection to their own feelings, thoughts, emotions and student interactive relationships.
I look forward to bringing these items into my classroom as I welcome all students in a safe, respectful and effective teaching environment. The organizational bins will help keep the materials clean and in a place where students can work to self-regulate and organize interactions with classmates.
