My Project

The Little Spot of Feelings books are an incredible resource for teaching social-emotional learning (SEL) in a fun, engaging, and accessible way. Each book in the series focuses on a different emotion, such as anger, anxiety, happiness, and sadness, using simple language, vibrant illustrations, and relatable stories. These books provide my students with an easy way to understand and talk about their feelings, which is a crucial step in developing emotional intelligence.

By incorporating these books into my counseling sessions and social skills lessons, I can create a safe and welcoming space where students feel comfortable exploring and expressing their emotions.

The stories and activities in the books will serve as a foundation for teaching essential social skills such as empathy, problem-solving, and effective communication. Through these lessons, students will learn how to better manage their emotions, build positive relationships, and feel more confident both in and out of the classroom.

This project will not only provide these amazing resources but also help my students develop important life skills that they can carry with them for years to come. The Little Spot of Feelings books will give them the tools to navigate their emotions, improve their social interactions, and ultimately become stronger, more resilient individuals.
