My Project

We hope to implement a stronger social-emotional curriculum within our library for our pre-kindergarten to second-grade students next year. The global coronavirus pandemic affected the social-emotional growth of many students, and we would like to help our students process the strong feelings they are experiencing.

These books will help us teach a curriculum dedicated to helping our students develop life skills for processing complex emotions.

Our goal is to create a library that is responsive to the needs of our students. We want to give every student access to resources that will benefit their mental health.
