This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have several students in my classroom with dyslexia that struggles with absorbing concepts that come a little easier to other students. They have trouble processing information and they get frustrated and discouraged. I think making learning fun and exciting again for these students will help them stay focused and motivated to participate in other educational opportunities. Having games and books that teach them skills and strategies in a fun new way will really help them view learning in a more positive light. I want my students to feel supported, smart, and confident while they are in my classroom and throughout their academic careers.
