Social Emotional Learning Art Activity

My Project

Both COVID-19 and the recent fire have greatly impacted my students emotionally. This school year, social-emotional learning has become a priority. As a 7th-grade team, we are planning SEL holiday activities. Students will work together with with homeroom in team building activities. They will build snowmen out of cotton balls, create pipeline trees, design Santa's canoe that will float and hold "presents" (marbles), design and color a festive door poster, and more. The snacks ordered are to recognize and reward excellence. We want to positively encourage each of our students to keep moving forward in the face of adversity.
