Social Emotional Learning and Neurodiversity (Autism)
Help me give my students books to support emotional intelligence, SEL, and coping with feelings, which will benefit all students, including those with Autism.
I am looking for books to help students use social stories to support emotional regulation with students who are neurodivergent, specifically with Autism or Intellectual Disabilities. I work primarily with students with mild to moderate Autism, intellectual disabilities, and mental health needs.. Students often have difficulty identifying or expressing their emotions. We are working to reduce tantrum behaviors and aggressive behaviors.
Students have been able to see the Little Spots but currently, I do not have the funds to purchase the books.
This would be so valuable for my students. I am grateful for any support for my students.
