Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I currently provide counseling services to approximately 60 students who receive Special Education services. I work with students of all grade levels and my entire district is economically disadvantaged. I am asking for a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to purchase engaging activities for my students. Kids often need more than just "talk therapy" when they're young. Hands-on activities help make the concepts easier to understand, as well as more fun! I want to use the gift card to purchase games, workbooks, and activities that will help teach with anger management, coping skills, conflict resolution, social skills, and many other counseling topics. The materials on the website are created by other teachers and counselors, so when I purchase something, the money goes directly back to other teachers and counselors!
