Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love teaching social emotional skills through activities and curriculum that are available on Teachers Pay Teachers, and I love using book companions. My students love having social emotional books read to them, and having a book companion activity can really help further their learning. I also enjoy using specific activities for learning that are available on TPT, such as lessons specifically on empathy, kindness and being a good friend, for example.

Access to quality social emotional learning material is very important to me and to my special education students.

Students work toward individual student goals and I like to use various curriculums to progress throughout the school year. The donations to this project will help me provide my special education students with materials to help them achieve their highest level of learning and help increase their social emotional skills in the academic setting.
