Help me give my students flexibility in the physical location of where they can do their work. Clipboards will enable the students to social distance while still working on their assignment.
I teach 3rd grade in a fast-growing suburb of Salt Lake City. We are a traditional school. Our students are from a wide variety of economic backgrounds. We have single-family homes, townhomes, and apartments in our boundaries. It is a high-density housing area in the fast-growing city of Herriman.
My class is ready and eager to learn.
We have a very wide range in ability levels, but all students are progressing and excited about school. We are off to a great start.
We have many services and programs in place to help the students be successful, but specific resources for individual student needs/levels are sometimes hard to come by.
My Project
The clipboards will allow the students to work on assignments in various locations while social distancing. Each student will be assigned one clipboard so there will not be cross contamination. This will also allow us the flexibility to work away from the desk and also outside the classroom and school.
Individual clipboards will be an asset in my classroom.
It will allow for flexible learning locations, while maintaining social distancing guidelines.
Reading, writing, math, art, science, and social studies will all be aided with this valuable tool. Thank you for the opportunity.
